each day is a great blessing. Here is one resource of many in the MRC
to consider as an aid for individual reading, reflection, and prayer. |
Careful
research reveals family devotional time is the best predictor of adult
church attendance. The next best predictor is a child growing up seeing
his or her parents read the Bible at home, and, third, parents reading
the Bible to their children. This is a good time to begin a daily
practice of reading the Bible to our children and grandchildren
(Deuteronomy 4:9, 6:4-7). This book is one of many in the MRC that will
help parents engage their children in this most enjoyable and
