McGregor Fellows 2013

Every summer the librarians offer their assistance to the McGregor Fellowss, a select group of students who work one-on-one with faculty to research a topic in the humanities or social sciences. This year there are ten scholars working with twelve faculty members. Some of the areas they are exploring:

  • Documentary Filmmaking:  The Camera Obscura
  • Study of the Trends in Book Publishing & Broader Society
  • Cultural engagement and language acquisition in Spanish semester abroad programs
  • Exploring the Role of Music in Identity, Sports, and Faith Formation

This is a great opportunity for librarians to showcase collections in the chosen areas of study and to help students do indepth research in a relaxed environment.

We congratulate all the McGregor scholars!
