LibGuides Make Research a Little Easier

LibGuides Make Research a Little Easier

Throughout the year the library staff gather usage statistics in order to gauge how often our resources are being used. This analysis can be applied to our LibGuides: guides on major programs of study as well as "how-to" guides and class guides. Altogether these guides comprise a formidable array of research tips, short-cuts to reliable information, book and database descriptions, advice on frequently researched topics, and more.

You can see from the graphic on the right which guides achieved the status of "most used" for the month of March alone. A few of these numbers achieved this status because the guides/resources may have been assigned (library tutorials), and classes were taught where the guides were presented (CAS 141).

If you make it a habit to use our guides you will be less inclined to "get stuck" when you're doing research in a given subject. Also, we invite anyone to propose new guide subjects/topics. We're always looking to make them more useful to students, in particular.
