A subset of the BIOSIS (Biological Abstracts). This database is designed specifically for use by college students. The database includes approximately 400,000 records selected from over 370 core life sciences journals, including popular and scholarly science journals. The journals selected for coverage are those most often found in college libraries. Nearly 80 percent of the articles indexed are English-language.
