This collection of microforms is the second part of a five-part series from the William Elliot Griffis Collection, Rutgers University Library. It is comprised of manuscript records of traders, travelers, missionaries and diplomats from 1853-1941. The collection is most useful to scholars of early Japanese - U.S. interaction. Part II covers both Griffis's own journals, 1859-1928, and a series of essays written by his students at Kaisei Gekko. There are 31 journals in total.

This collection is located in the microforms area on the 2nd Floor of the library.  Also available online.
