Gale Virtual Reference Library is a collection of more than 100 authoritative encyclopedias, dictionaries, directories, handbooks, almanacs and other reference materials accessed via one interface or individually. Individual titles may be searched by logging into the database and then narrowing to a specific title.

It is the inaugural product of Reveal Digital of Ann Arbor, Michigan. They are focusing on late-1960s underground/alternative press publications, whose authors include: “feminists, dissident GIs, campus radicals, Native Americans, anti-war activists, Black Power advocates, Hispanics, LGBT activists, the extreme right-wing press and alternative literary magazines".
