BIOSIS, accessed through Web of Science, is a citation index in the life sciences covering molecular and cell biology, pharmacology, endocrinology, genetics, neurosciences, infectious diseases, ecology and organismal biology.
This version of Medline is integrated into the citation linking feature found in the Web of Knowledge database. It is far more sophisticated than the other Medline version offered by the library, and is recommended for advanced researchers.
Web of Science is the world's largest, high-quality interdisciplinary database back to 1965. All subject areas are covered, but the sciences are covered very well. WoS is easy to use, but it has many advanced features that make it an excellent tool for advanced researchers. See the Web of Science page for searching instructions.
You can search all these databases, or select only one.
