BIOSIS, accessed through Web of Science, is a citation index in the life sciences covering molecular and cell biology, pharmacology, endocrinology, genetics, neurosciences, infectious diseases, ecology and organismal biology.
This version of Medline is integrated into the citation linking feature found in the Web of Knowledge database. It is far more sophisticated than the other Medline version offered by the library, and is recommended for advanced researchers.
The Hekman Library has electronic access to articles from all journals published by the Nature Group, which is a publisher of scientific and medical information in print and online. NPG publishes journals, online databases, and services across the life, physical, chemical and applied sciences and clinical medicine.
Web of Science is the world's largest, high-quality interdisciplinary database back to 1965. All subject areas are covered, but the sciences are covered very well.
