The Calvin Institute of Christian Worship aims to promote the scholarly study of
the theology, history, and practice of Christian worship and the renewal of worship in worshiping communities
across North America and beyond.
This massive nearly 50-page bibliography directs students of Christian worship to general theological resources on worship; introductory, historical, and theological resources for worship study; and worship design resources.
A journal that is international in scope, having editorial advisors from Canada, Singapore, Australia, Wales, England, Spain, Norway, and South Africa. The journal is edited by Dr. David Smith (Director of the Kuyers Institute for Christian Teaching and Learning) and John Shortt, head of research and development at the Stapleford Centre. JE&CB is published semiannually.
R&TA currently abstracts more than 400 journals, with summaries produced by a team of scholars from around the world. English language abstracts are provided for articles in French, German, Dutch, Swedish, Norwegian, Afrikaans, Hebrew, Italian, and Spanish. Hekman Library does not have a subscription, so our users are limited to no more than five results per search.
