The auction begins on May 7 and closes at 4:00 pm on May 14.

The auction is open to anyone.

Submit a bid via email to Glenn Remelts (remelt@calvin.edu). Include the Card Catalog Number with your bid.

Bids must increase at least $5 and there is no limit to the number of bids a person may submit each day.

The highest bids will be posted daily on this web page (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AppOXV0ubkuJdGtUdTh5UzEwTGNfenpET2JMRXQ1N2c) at 8:00am and 3:00pm. On May 14, bids will be posted at 2:30, 3:00, 3:30, and 3:50.

The winner is responsible for the removing the catalog by May 25.

These card catalogs are made of hardwoods and the construction is high quality. The integrity of all three is solid. The age of these card catalogs is unknown. We believe they were built in the 1970's or earlier. 72-drawer card catalogs do not appear on E-bay very often. But recently a 30-drawer catalog had 14 bids and the highest bid was $289. A 72-drawer catalog has 5 bids and the highest bid was $331. Add shipping costs, and the final price for these two catalogs would be in the $350-400 range.
