	Research Databases (Consult this list for interdisciplinary databases) Historical Abstracts Published since 1954, Historical Abstracts is the leading electronic bibliography for historical study with indexing for more than 2,000 journals. In addition to key historical journals from virtually every major country Historical Abstracts includes a selection of hundreds of journals in the social sciences and humanities that are of special interest to researchers and students of history. View: Online JSTOR JSTOR is a database consisting of only full-text articles from interdisciplinary peer-reviewed journals. Journals are included on the basis of number of subscribers the journal has, citation analysis, recommendations from experts in the field, and the length of time that the journal has been published. Coverage for each title begins with the first publication, with most titles ending coverage between three and five years ago. View: Online MLA International Bibliography The MLA International Bibliography is a subject index for books, articles and websites published on modern languages, literatures, folklore, and linguistics. MLA International Bibliography dates back to 1925 and contains over 2 million citations from more than 4,400 periodicals and 1,000 book publishers. Subscription to the MLA International Bibliography also includes access to the MLA Directory of Periodicals database. Its scope is international; foreign language journals are included (e.g., German, Italian, French, and Spanish). View: Online WorldCat (FirstSearch) Worldcat is a catalog of materials found in hundreds of libraries throughout the world. There are currently over 62 million records in 400 languages extending back to as early as 1,000 B.C. WorldCat is updated daily. View: Online


	Web Sources CIA World Factbook Offers country profiles covering geography, people, government, economy, communications, transportation, military and transnational issues. Includes maps and country flags. View: Online Annotation Latin American Network Information Center LANIC's mission is to facilitate access to Internet-based information to, from, or on Latin America for people living in Latin America as well as others around the world who have an interest in the region. LANIC has become an important gateway to Latin America for primary and secondary school teachers and students and private and public sector professionals. To select books and other materials in the Spanish language, use the advanced search and select "Spanish" in the language drop-down menu.

To find Spanish literature, history and criticism, look on the 5th floor in PQ6000-9000. Books about Spanish language can be found in PC4000-5000.
