The Economics and Business Department has numerous specialties. Be sure to check out the related guides identified above. Study in this field goes everywhere from very scholarly consideration of global economics and economic cycles to practical business marketing strategies. ABI/INFORM


ABI/INFORM is a premier source of English language business, accounting and economics information from around the world. Over 1 million citations from 1971 to the present provide complete bibliographic information, indexing, informative abstracts, and selected full-text articles from more than 1,000 business journals.

ABI/INFORM contains information on more than 60,000 companies as well as executive profiles, reports on market conditions, and in-depth case studies of global business trends. More than 350 of the database's sources are English-language titles published outside the U.S.

JSTOR is a database consisting of only full-text articles from interdisciplinary peer-reviewed journals. Journals are included on the basis of number of subscribers the journal has, citation analysis, recommendations from experts in the field, and the length of time that the journal has been published. Coverage for each title begins with the first publication, with most titles ending coverage between three and five years ago.
