The liaison program is the main vehicle for communication and
collaboration between librarians and faculty. The goals of the liaison program are to:
- inform faculty of new print and on-line resources pertinent to classroom instruction
- help faculty develop high-quality collections in their subject areas
- keep faculty informed about programs and services which impact their departments
- assist faculty with their personal research
- teach tailored research sessions upon request
- address library-related questions and concerns
Hekman Library also has a
Research Instruction Program for
designing research assignments and tailored research sessions. For more information on this program please contact
Sarah McClure Kolk, Instruction Librarian.
