ABI/INFORM is a premier source of English language business, accounting and economics information from around the world. Over 1 million citations from 1971 to the present provide complete bibliographic information, indexing, informative abstracts, and selected full-text articles from more than 1,000 business journals.

ABI/INFORM contains information on more than 60,000 companies as well as executive profiles, reports on market conditions, and in-depth case studies of global business trends. More than 350 of the database's sources are English-language titles published outside the U.S.

Communication & Mass Media Complete incorporates the content of CommSearch and the Mass Media Articles Index along with other journals in communication and mass media to create a resource with scope and depth encompassing the breadth of the communication discipline. CMMC offers complete indexing and abstracts for over 370 journals and select coverage of 230 more for a combined coverage of over 600 titles. Full text articles are available for more than 240 journals.

County and City Data Books at the Geostat Center, University of Virginia


"This resource provides access to the 1944 through 2000 County and City Data Books. This service provides the opportunity to create custom printouts and/or customized data subsets (subsets only available for 1988-2000)." While the Federal Government offers this data online in pdf format and on CD in other data format, this site allows you to create customized reports for download into excel spreadsheets.

JSTOR


JSTOR is a database consisting of only full-text articles from interdisciplinary peer-reviewed journals. Journals are included on the basis of number of subscribers the journal has, citation analysis, recommendations from experts in the field, and the length of time that the journal has been published. Coverage for each title begins with the first publication, with most titles ending coverage between three and five years ago.
