Dutch Language, Literature, and Culture Subject Guide

Introduction

The library supports the study of Dutch language, literature, and culture through acquisitions across disciplinary lines. This includes Dutch linguistics and literature; the history of Dutch-speaking peoples; and Dutch contributions to political life, philosophy, religion and theology, art, and other cultural achievements. The library also has a superb collection of publications in the Frisian language. The two print reference works below provide a general orientation to the subject.
The four subject guides - are designed to provide an elementary overview of print and Web resources in these areas.
