WebCat Search Hints

- Subject-specific hints for searching the library catalog

Some key subject headings to use in this area are, obviously, "Women's Studies" and also "Sex Role--Study and teaching." The main call number area in the library for this topic is HQ1180-1190 on the 3rd floor. Keep in mind, though, that the area of Women's Studies is vast and encompasses many disciplines.

One might also try the subject "Feminism" and append a subheading of one's choice, such as "Feminism--Religious aspects." Alternatively, the subject heading "Feminist" with another subject works well, such as "Feminist theology."
