AfricaBib consists of two bibliographic databases indexing Africana periodical literature (Africana Periodical Literature Bibliographic Database) and African Women's literature (African Women Bibliographic Database). Date coverage spans the early 19th C to the present. Also included is a comprehensive bibliography on women travelers and explorers to Africa (Women Travelers, Explorers and Missionaries to Africa Bibliographic Database).

Aluka is an international and collaborative digital library of scholarly resources from and about Africa. Aluka includes high-quality scholarly content from institutions and individuals across the globe.

Scholarly materials contributed by Aluka’s partners range from archival documents, periodicals, books, reports, manuscripts, and reference works, to three-dimensional models, maps, oral histories, plant specimens, photographs, and slides.

JSTOR


JSTOR is a database consisting of only full-text articles from interdisciplinary peer-reviewed journals. Journals are included on the basis of number of subscribers the journal has, citation analysis, recommendations from experts in the field, and the length of time that the journal has been published. Coverage for each title begins with the first publication, with most titles ending coverage between three and five years ago.
