Disc Golf Tournament Comes Around Again

Disc Golf Tournament Comes Around Again

Explore the library in a whole new(ish) way, throwing frisbees around with your friends. When? Friday evening, Jan. 24, 8 p.m. after closing. Where? Hekman Library, of course.

The tournament is open to teams of two people each who will compete for prizes. Prizes for the winning score are sponsored by Hekman Library, Knights4Life, and other campus groups. The winning team will be awarded a Frisbee Golf Championship Trophy. (First time ever!)

Each team should bring their own discs, (not PDGA discs, please), and pair up with another team to navigate a challenging course through the library, floors two through five.

This longstanding library tradition was revived last year because of its popularity. Stay tuned for the link to sign up. It will be published here in our blog and also on our Facebook page  and on signs around campus.

If you like history, you may want to take a look at these photos from the first tournament in 2005. First place team was John Berends and Peter Hiskes. (They were also the winners in year two!)
