Meeter Center 40th Anniversary Event

Meeter Center 40th Anniversary Event

This year is the Meeter Center's 40th anniversary and it will be marked by various events throughout the year. The first is a lecture and Psalm-sing on May 18, co-sponsored by the Meeter Center and the Calvin Institute of Christian Worship. All friends and supporters of the Meeter Center are warmly invited. The public lecture is at 3:30p.m. in the Meeter Center Lecture Hall by Dr. David Koyzis (Global Scholars Canada). His presentation is titled, "Let the People Praise! The Enduring Legacy of the Genevan Psalter."

In the evening, at 7p.m. there will be a community Psalm-sing, (with organ and piano accompaniment), in the Calvin Theological Seminary chapel. We will sing a selection of Psalms, first to Genevan Psalm tunes, and then in modern settings. The evening will conclude with a reception for all participants.
