Social Explorer is a suite of online tools and data that allow users to visually explore hundreds of thousands of data indicators across demography, economy, health, religion, crime, and more. Users can visualize and interact with data, create reports and downloads for offline processing.
The Oxford Research Encyclopedias (OREs) offer long-form overview articles written, peer-reviewed, and edited by leading scholars. The OREs cover both foundational and cutting-edge topics in order to develop an anchoring knowledge base for major areas of research across the humanities, social sciences and sciences. Multi-media features embedded in the articles, along with cross-referenced links to related content, will further expand the utility and scope of the OREs.

The International Bibliography of the Social Sciences (IBSS) is an essential online resource for social science and interdisciplinary research. IBSS includes over two million bibliographic references to journal articles and to books, reviews and selected chapters dating back to 1951. It is unique in its broad coverage of international material and incorporates over 100 languages and countries. Abstracts are provided for half of all current journal articles and full text availability is continually increasing.
CQ Researcher is a definitive reference resource for research in American government, politics, history, public policy, and current affairs. It includes coverage of health, social trends, criminal justice, international affairs, education, the environment, technology and the economy.
PAIS (originally, the Public Affairs Information Service) indexes sources on the 20th century’s most important public and social policies. It does not index journals cover-to-cover but selects articles relevant to public policy.
Columbia International Affairs Online (CIAO) is a source of documents and articles devoted to research, analysis and scholarship on international politics and related fields, including global finance, diplomatic practice, humanitarian law, development studies, and environmental studies.
Europa World Plus is the online version of the Europa World Year book and the Europa Regional Surveys of the World. Each country entry contains impartial economic, political and geographic background information and statistical data. It is updated regularly.
