Cayvan Media CollectionCayvan contains the library's visual media collections (movies, music, audiobooks, etc.). The library also provides media rooms and a variety of other playback devices for in-house patron use.
Curriculum CollectionCollection of K-12 education materials (sample school curricula, and other resources relevant to Calvin's education program).
FolioBooks designated by the catalog as "folio" are oversized books, (generally 31 cm. or more in height or length); they are shelved together at the northwest side on 5th Floor. Art books, because they are so often larger in format than other books, are not considered oversized until they are 35 cm. or more.
General ReferenceThe print reference collection covers all subject areas, and includes materials from dictionaries to atlases.
Government DocumentsHekman Library is a congressionally dedicated repository for government documents. Most materials collected from 2012 forward are online, searchable via the library catalog and/or the Government Printing Office's FDSys database.

Ministry Resource CenterLocated on the 4th floor of Hekman Library, the Ministry Resource Center serves the students and faculty of Calvin University and Calvin Theological Seminary, as well as pastors, congregations, and church agencies of any denominational tradition. It provides resources for the practice of congregational and campus ministry, in cooperation with the Calvin Institute of Christian Worship and the department of Congregational and Ministry Studies of Calvin University.
