This guide is an orientation to Hekman Library's services and resources for Calvin Seminary students. Read through this guide get answers to all your questions on borrowing materials, accessing electronic resources, and getting more help from your theological librarian!

Hekman Library Home Page
From this page, you can easily navigate to the library catalog to search for books and ebooks, browse databases for online resources, or explore other tools such as the Research guides or MeL/ILL.
My Library Account
Login to your library account using your 14-digit seminary ID barcode number on the back of your ID card as both username and password. With My Account, you can renew materials and check your account status; you'll also need to be logged in to access some electronic journals and database when you are off-campus.
Interlibrary Loan Services (ILL)
If Hekman Library doesn't own a copy of an article you need, we will get it from another library and we can send it to you. Print books are available via ILL, but cannot be sent via mail; you'll have to pick up and return to the physical library. PDF copies of certain articles and book chapters can also be ordered freely through ILL and sent to your email.
