Government Documents

Government documents include hearings, reports, statues, treaties, periodicals, data and other documents of any kind created by local, state, or federal governmental agencies, committees, or other groups. Through the Federal Depository Library Program, the Government Printing Office provides all this information to over 1,000 libraries around the country designated as Federal Depositories, working to provide the public with access to government information. Calvin University is one such federal depository library; Hekman Library receives online and print access to government documents and houses a great quantity historical documents as well.
